The TuboHotel is an amazing eco-responsible tourist spot made from recycled concrete pipes sheltering 20 rooms. Located in Tepoztlán, Mexico, the Tubo Hotel is inspired by architect Andreas Strauss’ Dasparkhotel – the first hotel made from reclaimed concrete pipes. Overlooking the Sierra del Tepozteco, the eco hotel is made of three volumes of concrete tubes stacked on top of each other, in order to gain as much space as possible. The first three tubocretos modules and the placement plan were done by T3arc, while the construction of the rest of the modules remained in the hands of the hotel’s administration. Part of the trending eco-responsible tourism, the TuboHotel covers 220 square meters and it took 3 months for it to be finished. This hotel is perfect if you’re on a vacation that is focused on visiting and having fun rather than on rest and relaxation.
